About Me

Background
I recently graduated college, and after several years of working in the bio space, I realized research wasn't something I really wanted to spend the rest of my life doing. It's a bit hard spending years working at something only to realize you don't enjoy it, but for the past couple months, I've plunged feet first into product design.
Not only has this been something I've found incredibly fun, but I believe that in our AI-centric world, it's never been more important to put people first in how we design. I care about craft and ambition in equal measure—design that pushes forward but stays rooted in real human needs.
Lately for me that has meant taking products I admire, identifying gaps in their experience, and designing what I think could fill them, complete with research, prototypes, and all the constraints that come with building for others. It has also meant building products of my own, both big and small that occupy a space in the world that I believe needs to be filled.
If you've made it this far, say hi! Especially if you care as much about the work as you do about the people around you.
